2013 Ya'an Lushan earthquake hit local farmers’ house severely. The government started the reconstruction work on the designated location immediately after the quake. The reconstruction project was co-financed by the government and One Foundation.
The main structure is formed by lightweight steel framing with bricks exterior wall for the ground floor and steel mesh for the first floor. The roof is made from glazed tiles.
